The service is good and quick. They had no diesel cars left, but we could choose from several gasoline cars. The only minus - too many scratches on all doors, roof ...

It was a little unclear at first after coming through passport control in the arrival hall, but found the rental place very quickly, bus service ok. Service was excellent, very friendly person, taking the time to explain the contract. I knew about the full tank of petrol, which I don't like, but have to accept. Also the insurance was explained. The car hire was very cheap so I wasn't expecting too much, the car had a few marks on it, but was in perfect working order. Tires could do with a renewal soon. The car was clean, radio working,so all in all I was happy.

New England is a region in the north-eastern United States. It’s comprises six of the fifty United States; Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Every state borders at least one other and the region itself is bordered to the east by the Atlantic Ocean.

The region was first settled on in 1620, when Pilgrims from England came across the Atlantic and formed Plymouth Colony. A decade later Puritans settled to the north in Boston and the Massachusetts Bay Colony was created and dominated the area, establishing Boston as the major town in the region.

Widely considered to be the cultural capital of New England is Boston, Massachusetts. Boston is a one of the major cities of the United States and has a population of 700,000. It’s attractions include the Boston Harbour, Boston National Park, which includes the Freedom Trail, charting the city’s role in the American Revolution in the 18th century, and Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox baseball team.

As well as the Boston Red Sox the region also has a number of other sporting attractions; the New England Patriots, who play in the NFL, the Boston Celtics, who play in the NBA, the Boston Bruins, who play in the NHL and the New England Revolution, who play in the MLS. All are based in the state of Massachusetts.

The climate in New England is varied to the size of the region. In the autumn the region gains tourism due to the forests that dominate much of the region, creating a wide array of colours as the leaves start to fall. In the winter the region gets a large amount of snowfall and because of this the mountains and ski resorts of the region are very popular.
