What Our Customers Say:
The service is good and quick. They had no diesel cars left, but we could choose from several gasoline cars. The only minus - too many scratches on all doors, roof ...2013-11-26Andrey
It was a little unclear at first after coming through passport control in the arrival hall, but found the rental place very quickly, bus service ok. Service was excellent, very friendly person, taking the time to explain the contract. I knew about the full tank of petrol, which I don't like, but have to accept. Also the insurance was explained. The car hire was very cheap so I wasn't expecting too much, the car had a few marks on it, but was in perfect working order. Tires could do with a renewal soon. The car was clean, radio working,so all in all I was happy.2013-11-26Marijke Phillips

A Quick Guide to... Halifax
Halifax is a town in West Yorkshire near Leeds in the United Kingdom. It is best known the world over for Mackintosh Chocolate (which is now owned by Nestle) and for the Halifax Bank. Halifax offers some beautiful sights and landmarks to visit, including the Wainhouse Tower, which is the tallest folly in the world. Its construction started in 1871 and it was intended to be the chimney for the dye factory. However, when the dye works were sold, the new owner refused to invest in its completion and it became a folly instead.
Another notable landmark is the Piece Hall, which is where trading of cloths was originally done. It opened in 1779, making it a very old building. When the cloth industry became mechanized, it became a public market. If you enjoy markets, the Borough Market will definitely be worth your visit. It is a covered Victorian covered market that has won awards.
The Dean Clough Mill is now a business park but was originally the largest carpet factory in the world. There are also many museums to visit in Halifax, including the Regimental Museum (in honor of the Duke of Wellington?s Regiment) and the Eureka! The Museum for Children (located in the former home of famous diarist Anne Lister). Halifax is also home to the Victoria Theatre, which is home to the oldest amateur choral society in the world. Acting and art is highly present in Halifax, and if you are a thespian, you will definitely find things to suit your interests and needs.
