What Our Customers Say:
The service is good and quick. They had no diesel cars left, but we could choose from several gasoline cars. The only minus - too many scratches on all doors, roof ...2013-11-26Andrey
It was a little unclear at first after coming through passport control in the arrival hall, but found the rental place very quickly, bus service ok. Service was excellent, very friendly person, taking the time to explain the contract. I knew about the full tank of petrol, which I don't like, but have to accept. Also the insurance was explained. The car hire was very cheap so I wasn't expecting too much, the car had a few marks on it, but was in perfect working order. Tires could do with a renewal soon. The car was clean, radio working,so all in all I was happy.2013-11-26Marijke Phillips

A Quick Guide to... Corsica Airport
The island of Corsica in the Mediterranean Sea is located west of Italy, southeast of France and north of the Island of Sardinia. There are two main Airports on the island: Ajaccio Airport, officially known as A?roport de Ajaccio Campo Dell'Oro (AJA), and Poretta Airport in Bastia. Two smaller airports are Calvi and Figari. AJA is the largest of the four airports and is just 5 km or a 15 minutes drive from the centre of Ajaccio city along Route N193. Air France is the biggest carrier operating out of AJA, with connections to the major cities in Europe. Ajaccio is on Corsica?s west cost about 390 km southeast of Marseille. Bastia Airport, officially A?roport de Bastia-Poretta (BIA) is the second biggest and lies some 20 km or 12 miles from Bastia. Travel to the island is basically by air or ferry, and being a small island travel between any two points takes only a short time.
Transport facilities at the airport in Ajaccio are quite naturally scaled down. The airport has only 400 odd parking slots. Only 10 to 15 taxis are permanently stationed at the airport and every 50 minutes or so a shuttle bus leaves the airport for the center of the city. A few international car hire companies have depots at the airport, including Budget, Europcar and Hertz. Bastia Airport doesn?t fare any better, but it has 450 parking slots and the shuttle bus (4.5 Euros one-way) takes some 30 minutes to get to the city centre.
At Bastia Budget, Hertz and Sixt offer car rental services. But your best source of information regarding car hire on Corsica before you get there will be to use online resources and Anycarhire.com is one of the best. The online resource at Anycarhire.com enables you to make the booking well in advance and you get the opportunity to compare the prices and the cars available on the date of arrival so you get to choose the best car for your needs at the best price to suit your budget.
Your choices may be limited given that only a few international car hire companies operate here, but to find what might be available for you in advance it is a good idea to check with Anycarhire.com. If you are visiting for business or vacation you might need to have your unique needs, for example special seating arrangements and navigation aids in the car taken care of and waiting when you arrive on the island.
