The city of Washington D.C is the capital of the United States of America, and is situated on Eastern seaboard of the country. Entry to the National Archives is free along with nearly all of the museums in Washington, thanks to the Smithsonian Institution, which maintains nearly all of the official museums in the nation.

In terms of sporting attractions Washington is home to half a dozen major professional sports teams. The Redskins, who play at FedEx Field, in the NFL, the Nationals in baseball, the Wizards in the NBA, the Capitals in ice hockey and the Mystics, who play in the women’s NBA.
