Location
The airport is located on Grant McConachine way 8 miles south of Vancouver city linked by the Arthur Laing Bridge and highway 99.
Terminal Information
The airport has three terminals the international, domestic and south terminals, which are connected by the glass corridor walkway. Complimentary shuttle bus service also transfers passengers between terminals.
Vancouver Airport Information Desk
The airport information desks are located in all the three terminals and customer service counters are located on the departure level of both the domestic and international terminals. The Tourist information desks are located on the arrivals level in both the international and domestic terminals (Ph: 604 207 0953).
Traveling to and from Airport
By Bus : there are number of bus service operating from the airport to hotels and various destinations in Vancouver. The Airporter buses operates to Vancouver, the cruise ship terminal and to ground transportation stations in the city.
Vancouver Airport Facilities
Currency Exchanger & ATMs : both the financial facilities and also a bank is located in the terminals.
Food & Drinks : the airport has excellent cafes, bars, fast food outlets and restaurants serving meals and refreshments located at convenient locations in the terminals.
Shopping : although the main concentration of shops including duty free shop is located in the international terminal and domestic terminal areas. There are various other shopping outlets are located in the other two terminals.
Left / Lost Luggage : the left luggage facility operated by CDS Baggage storage is located in the arrivals area of international and domestic terminals (Ph: 604 303 4519).
Other Facilities : post box is available in the arrivals area of domestic terminal.
Telephone and Internet cafes or access points are available throughout the terminals.
Mobile phone hire is available in the arrivals area of domestic terminal.
Pharmacy and 24-hour medical center is located in the domestic terminal.
Children play area and baby change rooms are located throughout the terminals.
Vancouver Airport Facilities for Disabled
There are lifts, ramps providing easy access for passengers on wheelchair to different levels in the terminals. Some specially designed facilities like toilets, telephones and fountain drinking water are available in the airport. Wheelchairs and wheelchair push are provided on request at the airport. For any specific assistance at the airport the airlines should be informed in advance. Car parking at designated car parks are provided at the airport.
