The standardised EU Blue Parking Badge is supported by a leaflet compiled by the AA for the European Commission. It explains how the Blue Badge system works in 18 European countries.

To avoid complications over parking rules, please display your badge with a note stating that it is valid in UK according to EU regulation CEMT-Resolution CM(77)24. The German translation would be "Dieser Ausweis für Behinderte ist auch in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland gültig, gemäss der EU Richtlinie CEMT-Resolution CM(77)24”.
