
About Toulouse Airport
Five miles to the northwest of Toulouse, the Toulouse Blagnac Airport is one of France's best airports. It is an international airport serving a lot of airlines, such as Aer Lingus, Aeris, Air France, Air Littoral, bmi, EUjet, Flybe, Iberia, Lufthansa, Maersk Air and Tunisair.
Taxis can be taken to Toulouse from the airport, as can be regularly operating shuttle buses.
The airport is very well-maintained, and baggage reclaim belts and trolleys are available. The airport is equipped with a bank, automatic teller machines, public telephones, photograph booths and photocopiers for use by passengers. There are two restaurants in the airport called Le Pre Carre and L'Horizon. There are also a number of smaller cafés and bars at the airport, such as the Ciel Mon Café, Sand Show, Terminal and L'Escale.
The airport also provides ample shopping opportunities, with a newsagent, tobacconist, a gift shop and a chemist to boot. You can buy excellent leather products from I Santi, and books, magazines and clothing from Relay. Perfumery can be purchased from Marrionnaud.
The airport features excellent facilities for disabled tourists, and the bus service maintained by the airport is fully wheelchair-accessible. Special toilet accommodations are also available for handicapped personnel.
