Toronto Pearson Airport is located roughly 14 miles northwest of the city centre of Toronto, and about 2 miles inland from the coast of Lake Ontario. The airport itself is actually in the separate city of Mississauga, but as with most of the smaller cities along the Golden Horseshoe, this has simply become part of the Greater Toronto urban sprawl. The airport is one of the 10 busiest in North America, serving around 150 international destinations, and handling more than 30 million people per year.

Driving Directions to Toronto Airport
The fastest route to Toronto Pearson International Airport from the centre of the city is to head west along the Gardiner Expressway along the harbour front towards Humber Bay. Turn north onto route 427 and head north for about 4 miles. Follow the signs for the airport onto Route 401 before rejoining Route 427 into the airport. Car parking is available throughout the airport, although charges are quite high for long stays.
