
Sydney Airport
The Sydney airport has three terminals T1 International, T2 Domestic and T3 Qantas terminal. The T1and T2 terminals are interlinked by underground passage called AirportLink. Bus services are provided inbetween terminals and passengers travelling in either international or domestic flights can use the Qantas Seamless Transfer service.
Travel to and from Sydney Airport
The airport is 6 miles south of Sydney city and the roads are well directed by signpost to the airport.
Rail : the T1, T2 and T3 terminals have rail stations and links with central sydney and suburbs provided by Airport Link call (02) 8337 8417 or 131 500 or visit www.airportlink.com.au. Tickets can be purchased online.
Bus : transportation service to many hotels Kings Cross, city centre and darling areas from the airport are provided by Kingsford Smith Transport Sydney Airporter hotel bus service contact (0)2 9666 9988. Bus services are available between airport and Sydney’s other regional areas but has to be booked in advance.
Airport Information and Help Desk
The information desk providing tourism, with accommodation, tours and food information in Sydney is located in the T 1 international terminal arrivals on level 1. Also information is provided by Gold Ambassadors who are stationed throughout the airport.
Sydney Airport Facilities
Currency Exchanger & ATMs : the Bureaux de change is locate in T 1 terminal arrivals on level 1 and ATMs are situated in all the three terminals.
Food & Drinks : the termianls have range of local and international food at the resturants, cafes and bars before and after security control.
Shops : for airport shopping the terminals has unlimited shops with variety of items including duty free shops to salon and specility stores.
Left & Lost Luggage : the left luggage facility is located in the T 1 terminal of arrivals at level 1 and operated by Tempo Service. Contact no (02)9667 0926. The lost property office is located in T 1 at level 3 call (0)2 9667 9583
Lounges : in terminal T 1 seven lounges are available and one in T 2 terminal.
Other Facilities at Sydney Airport
Postal and xerox is available at Australian Post Shop in the T 1 terminal of departurs on level 2.
Internet can be accessed throughout the airport terminal.
Baggage storage facility is located in the T 2 terminal arrivals area.
Medical centre is in T1 terminal at level 3 and pharmacy in departure area.
Free showers are available in T 1 terminal at the departure and arrival area.
Children play area is located in the in T 1 terminal and cinema near Gate 33.
Also children toilets are situated with the ladies toilets and baby changing rooms are located throughout the terminals.
Vodafone Rental Stores is located in T 1 near arrivals, provides mobile phone hire.
Business & Conference Facility
For meeting facitlity with complete business presentation equipments in terminal T 1 or T2 contact Sydney Airport Executive Service on (02) 9667 6534 or visit www.execservices.com.au. There are two meeting rooms Kingsford Smith Suite and two VIP suites in T1 and T2 has meeting, conference and function place with a capacity of 1000 delegates. Catering service is also available.
Facilities for Disabled
The airport terminal has compatiable telephones like text sets and inductin loop, lifts, ramps, wheelchair and toilets. Parking is available before the T1 terminal and passengers with other special needs should inform the airlines.
