Sur Reina Sofia airport is the major gateway to the Canary island of Tenerife and is located in the south of the island. Location of the Airport: The airport is located 37.5 miles from Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the north of the island.

Traveling to & from the Airport: Regular bus service is provided from the outside arrivals of the airport on three routes, Bus no 341 runs from the central bus station in Santa Cruz. Bus no 340 operate to North Tenerife Airport and bus no 487 serves to Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas.

Information Desk: Located in the central hall is the only one information desk available at the terminal providing assistance for passengers regarding flight enquiries, and airport information.
