Fiddler's Creek located in Rockwood Parade is a very lively bar, particularly during the weekends. It has its own in-house DJ, and live band performances are held four or five nights a week. It also shows all the major live sporting events on large screens for the bar patrons.

Shoot The Crows in Market Cross, Grattan Street is a long and narrow bar, which plays a wide variety of music including Latin, Soul, Jazz, Motown Funk, Blues, Reggae, Punk, Afrobeat and Irish Traditional among many others. It also features the most unusual front window anyone is likely to see in his/her life.
The Envy Nightclub in Teeling Street boasts three dance floors and four bars. This is a busy club, and it especially caters to the students of the nearby Institute of Technology, Sligo. The entrance fees range from €6 – €12 depending on the time of night.
The Velvet Room Nightclub in Kempten Promenade is Sligo’s newest Nightclub. It has four bars and two dance floors distributed over two levels. It is geared toward more sophisticated clubbers.
