Sanford Airport of the Airport: Situated on approximately 2000 acres Sanford International airport boasts the finest leisure passenger facilities in the United States. The airport is conveniently located within the boundaries of the city of Sanford in the northwestern section of beautiful Seminole County, Florida, 18 miles northeast of Orlando, Florida. Major interstate access to the airport is provided by Interstate 4 and the Central Florida Greeneway. State Highway 46 provides access to the Airport from the west via Interstate 4 and from the east via Interstate 95.
Traveling to and from the Airport: Regular shuttle service is available from the airport to the city center and to other destinations in and around the city. Terminal information: There are two terminals with two levels in the terminal located close to each other and terminal A serves international flights and terminal B serves domestic flights.
Information Desk: The airport information desk is available both in the terminal A and terminal B in the lower level of the terminal.
Sanford Airport Facilities:
Money and Communication: Bureau de change and ATM is located in the upper level of terminal A and lower level of terminal B. There is also a currency exchanger on the upper level of terminal A and a post office in the upper level of terminal B. Telephones are located all throghout the terminal A and terminal B.
Refreshments: Variety of food is available in both the terminals. On the upper level of terminal A Chadwick’s pub and food court is available serving lovely delicious foods.
Shopping: Shopping is available in both the terminals including newagents, gifts, accessories, travel pursuits and duty free shops and real stuff all are available in both the terminal building.
Left and lost luggage facility: Left luggage office is on the lower level of terminal B and there is no lost luggage office available at the terminal building.
Other Facility: Other facility includes rest rooms, children play area, baby change room and a 24 hour first aid facility at the terminal A lower level.
Disabled Facility: This facility includes ramp, lifts, wheel chairs, lowered telephones for the wheel chair passengers and induction loop for the passengers with hearing impaired. Any special assistance required by the disabled passengers, should give prior notice to the respective airlines while booking their flights. Designated carpark is also available for the disabled passengers with short and long term car park facilities.
