It is still the biggest country in the world stretching from Poland to Korea and from the Polar Regions to the deserts Asia and it is the country with the most number of neighbours in the world.

It is a miraculous country with many cultural and historic treasures, unspoilt nature and industrious, bright and hospitable people. On this huge landmass there are many of the worlds greatest sights to discover, St. Petersburg and Moscow are surely exciting places to visit with world class museums, churches and other historic centers.

St Petesburg: Formerly the Capital of Russia it was the home of the Tsars who wanted a capital that was more European than Russia. Attractions in the city are the State Hermitage Museum on the banks of the River Neva constructed in the mid 18 th century exhibits the collection of of the Department of Russian Culture and the Treasure Gallery. The Volga River is the best way to see Russia.

Moscow: Russia’s recent history has famous for both its people and infrastructure but the city’s tourist attractions remains world class. Some of the tourist attractions are the St Isaac’s Cathedral adjacent to the winter palace is one of the famous landmark in Russia, this classical building houses a naval college and is replete with trumpeting angels, oversized statues and fountains. The Palace Square one of the Europe’s great squares lined with colourful yet elegant deidices and dotted with monuments commemorating Russia’s victory over the Nepolean. This city houses some of the famous museums, The Cathedral of St Basil, The Glinka Museum of Musical Culture, The A. A. Bakhrushin State Central Theater Museum, The State Russian Museum and the State Hermitage Museum.
