Rome Fiumicino Airport
Location of the Airport: The Airport is located 16 miles southwest of Rome. GRA ring road leads to the A12 highway direct to Fiumicino and passengers should follow the signposts to the airport.
Traveling to & from the Rome Fiumicino Airport:
- Rail: Express train service to Rome’s Termini Station is provided by Leonardo Express trains. Services are also provided to Fara, Sabina, Poggio Mirteto and Orte, Metropolitan Trains also stops at the local stations on the way to Tiburtina.
- Bus: Daily bus service has been provided which leads to Rome Termini and Tiburtina, which connects to the metro A line at Lepanto. Cotral provides daily night service bus to Rome Termini and Tiburtina.
Terminal Information: There are three terminals linked by a free shuttle service with the long-term car parks.
Information Desk: Numberof information desk is available in each of the terminal with touch-screen technology and videoconferencing at the departures and arrivals of Terminal A, arrivals of Terminal B and C with an operator free of charge. Tourists information desk is provided by APT, tel: (0) 6 65951).
Rome Fiumicino Airport Facilities at the Airport:
- Currency : Number of banks, bureaux de change and ATMs are available in each of the terminals.
- Refreshments : Food courts snack bars and cafes are provided all over the three terminal.
- Shopping : Several wide range of duty free 24 hour shopping including fashion, jewellery, perfumes, and traditional Italian products are available at the terminals.
- Left & Lost Luggage : Left luggage facility is available on the ground floor of the terminal C and lost luggage at the office tower, Porter service can be reserved in advance.
- Other Facilities : First aid service, pharmacies available 24 hours in each of the terminal, a chapel, a prayer room and nurseries are also available at the terminals.
Rome Airport Facilities for the Disabled: Anyassistance required by the disabled of any special needs should inform while booking their flight. Lounges are available for the disabled in all the three terminals. On the first level of multi storey car parks long-term car park is available for the disabled.
