Rome Fiumincino Airport is situated sixteen miles south west of Rome city centre. In terms of volume of air and passenger traffic, Rome's Fiumincino Airport is the largest airport in the whole of Italy and the sixth largest in Europe.
Getting into Rome city centre is straightforward with the Leonardo Express connecting the city to the airport itself every 30 minutes. There is also a shuttle bus service connecting the airport to the city and both the train and bus services are regular and reliable.
