
Reus
Reus the capital of Baix Camp Catalan is a city with a very dynamic commercial activity specially in agriculture and industry. This city is situated in the south eastern Catalonia, it is the region’s major commercial and cultural center. It was the international point of reference for the brandy trade and as such became the Catalonia’s second city. The red rose is the hearlds symbol of the city since the XIV century, it is to be remember that Reus is a capital constantly growing and that since few years now is permanently promoting its center and its monuments to the whole nation.
Tourist attractions in the city of Reus is fabulous. This city is famous for the few of the most important modernism buildings built by various architects. The Casa Navas and the Instituto Pere Mata the modernism building in Reus built by the famous Luis Domenech Muntaner is probably the most representative building in the city, the exterior balcony and the decorated façade are the major attraction of this beautiful house. Some of the other famous mounments are the Cambrer Castle, Saint Peter Prioral Church, Town Hall, Misericordia Sanctuary, Purissima Sang Church, Bofarull Palace, the Blue house and the Fortuny Theatre. Among the museums the most famous museums are the Museu Salvador Vilaseca and the Museu d’Historia i Art the art and the history museum.
