When to go Prague
Whole year visitors can come and enjoy they can enjoy all the season like summer, cold and rainy. While attractions across much of the Czech Republic are closed or keep limited hours outside the summer season, Prague caters for visitors all year round. Periods when the tourist crush is especially oppressive include the Easter and Christmas/New Year holidays, as well as May and June. Many Czechs go on holiday in July and August, during which time the supply of bottom-end accommodation actually increases, as student hostels are opened to visitors. Spring, which can occasionally bring glorious days, is best known for gray, windy stints with rain. May is also the month of the renowned Prague Spring Classical Music Festival, drawing stars and fans of serious music from around the world. September into October is cool autumn breezes turn trees on the surrounding hills into a multicolored frame for Prague Castle. A true lover of Prague's mysticism should aim to come in the dead cold of February. It sounds bizarre, but this is when you can best enjoy the monochrome silhouettes, shadows, and solitude that make Prague unique. You'll never forget a gray, snowy February afternoon on Charles Bridge.
