Porto is one of the main cities of Portugal situated in the northern region. The city is said to be the first ever city of Portugal, and it was from where Portugal was born.
The city originating from the Roman era is especially rich in cultural heritage and historical treasures. The introduction of baroque style with gold guild interior also brought forth newer tradition in the architecture.

The city has an exclusive collection of tasty dishes and Porto remains responsible for the devouring Portuguese Cuisine. Many of the country’s delicate dishes were originated from Porto. But the specialties of Porto are the Tripes and the Port Wine.
Besides tongue-tuckers and eye-catchers Porto also offers body-grooving nightlife. With lots of places to choose from one can avail any type of nightlife s/he wants in Porto. The shopping places here are not that happening but they do hold a good collection of goods.
