Who hasn't hard about the leaning tower of Pisa ? Especially the physics students, one of the basic stuffs they ought to study is the experiment of Galileo in the leaning tower of Pisa . Pisa is a town in Tuscany in central Italy .

Pisa is also the capital city of the province of Pisa and the city is especially popular worldwide for the bell tower. While conducting the research on the origin of the city, the historians were unable to identify anything. The city is situated at the junction of two rivers and various civilizations so far has been reported or guessed as the founder of the city. Archeological remains from the 5th century BC confirm the existence of a city at the sea, trading with Greeks and Gauls. The presence of an Etruscan necropolis was discovered during excavations in the Arena Garibaldi in 1991. Also ancient Roman authors referred to Pisa as an old city.

Pisa has more to offer other than the leaning tower. This city of art and architecture can please any traveler with every inch of it. There is the Square of Miracles , The Duomo, The Knight's square and so many more.
