
Monaco
Monaco a sovereign and independent state, principality of Monaco has borders on the land side with several communes of the French Department of the Alpine-Maritimes and the sea side Monaco faces Mediterranean sea. Monaco is divided into five different parts the Monaco-Ville on the Rock, the Condamine, Monte-Carlo, Fontvieille and Moneghetti.

Church of Mercy : the chapel built in the 1639 on the place de la Mairie (old town) was the seat of the brotherhood of Black Penitents, whose first Prior was Prince Honore II. The chapel includes a Christ carved out of wood by the Monegasque Francois-Joseph Bosio, who was the official sculptor to the Emperor Napoleon I.
Louis II Stadium : the huge sporting complex on the Fontvieille esplanade and officially opened in 1985, harmonizing perfectly with the architecture of the rapidly increasing district.
The Oceanographic Museum & Aquarium : the aquarium was founded by Prince Albert I in 1910 is a monumental architectural masterpiece museum of marine sciences. The museum took 11 years to build with rocks.
Fort Antoine Theater : the XVIII century fortress built on the northern tip of the rock used as a marvelous outdoor theatre and seating built in a semi circle.
Museum of Chapel of the Visitation : housed in a baroque style chapel dating back to the VII century. The museum includes collections of sacred works of arts belonging to Mrs. Piasecka Johnson and masterpieces from Rubens, Zurbaran, Ribera and masters of the Italian Baroque period.
Naval Museum : the museum collections include 250 scale models of famous sea vessels, which have come from H.S.H the sovereign prince’s private collections. Also models of the great transatlantic liners such as the Titanic and the Normandie are on display alongside exploration ships.
Museum of Napoleonic Souvenirs : the museum located in the south wing of the Prince’s Palace with the main collections located in the ground floor. The collections are more than thousand years old and documents relating to the Emperor Napoleon I.
Observatory Caves : located 200 feet below the gardens and tourist can discover the immense chambers of the prehistoric Observatory Caves. The caves formation of stalagmites, stalactites and limestone concretions are admirably illuminated.
