Monaco Driving Tips

Monaco offers motorist some of th most unique and beautiful scenery in Europe, the highway system is excellent but the routes are indirect due to many lakes in southern Monaco. The speed limit in the city of Monaco is 31 mph to 50 kph, on major roads it is 62 mph to 100 kph and on motorways it is 74 mph to 120 kph. Seat belts are compulsory and childrens below the age of 12 must sit in the rear seat. It is advisable to carry your driving licence, insurance certificate and vehicle registration with proof of ownership along with your passport whenever you are driving.
