Nightlife of Milan
The Milan is known for having the best nightlife of Italy. Its center’s on the two main areas: around the street Brera gallery, and the canal-side Navigli and the adjacent Ticinese quarter, south of the city where there are no of lively bars, nightclubs restaurant and hosting regular live bands. Thursday is the hippest midweek of city’s club. Milan has scored high on the jazz its rock scene is relatively good by Italian standard.
We can find the anecdote of the expensive designer’s side of Milan’s nightlife by checking the healthy alternative scences, revolving around the city’s many centri sociali. Born out of the student protests of the late Sixties, these centers are essentially squatted buildings, where committees organize cheap, sometimes free, entertainment, such as concerts and film showings. There are still some good vegetarian restaurant and bars for the city’s social scence. Worth checking out are Gargliano, in Via Gargliano, ten minutes' walk north of Garibaldi Station, and Conchetta, on Via Conchetta, five minutes' walk south of Porta Ticenese and the flagship, Leoncavallo.
