Petronas Twin Towers – are the world’s tallest freestanding pair of buildings at a height of 88 452 meters. The building houses offices, state of the art concert hall-the Petronas Philharmonic Hall, home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Petronas Performing Arts Group. The designs of the tower are based on geometric patterns common in Islamic architecture and the special feature of the towers include the double deck sky bridge and high-speed double deck lifts.Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls – the geological marvel with seven Wells Waterfall is a spot where fresh water stream cascades down about 90 meters from a series of seven natural pools. The rocks are extremely slippery and a climb from the lower falls becomes increasingly scenic the higher you climb.
Gunung Raya – the tallest natural feature or mountain in Langkawi and is believed to be the cursed form of a giant, known as Mat Raya. The place is untouched and completely covered with dense forest has become a favourite destination for the adventurers. Trekking to the peak with a guide is advisable and a telecommunication station is accessible from a small road leading to the top.
