Castillo de Gibralfaro and Alcazaba are Moorish castles which showcase excellent examples of ancient Moorish architecture. Foreign visitors would find them to be fascinating. Visitors can have an amazing view of the city of Malaga and its surroundings from the Castillo de Gibralfaro. It costs approximately €3 for an adult to enter these attractions. However, if there is only time to visit one of the two castles, the Alcazaba is a better choice, because it is easier to access, and better-decorated. The Castillo can be reached by taking bus number 35. Visitors can enter for free on Sunday afternoons after 2:00 PM. The castles are closed on Mondays.
The Interactive Museum of Music in Malaga is home to one of the most extensive collections of musical instruments in Europe.
Plaza de la Merced located at the City Center is the birthplace of artist Pablo Picasso. It contains many objects used by the artist in his childhood, along with a number of his paintings. The entry fee is only 1.
For serious Picasso fans, there is also the Picasso Museum, which costs 8 to enter. It features rare paintings and exclusive exhibitions.
The Catedral de Malaga is located at the heart of the City Center, and has an entry fee of 3.50.
