Disabled access to British Embassy Luxembourg
The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the British Embassy in Luxembourg are keen to ensure that their buildings and services are fully accessible to disabled members of the public. Wherever possible, we have made our buildings and services accessible. Sometimes however, this is not possible due to security or other restrictions. In these situations we will endeavor to provide a service or access to a building in an alternative way to ensure equality of access for disabled people. To assist disabled visitors, we have set out below details of disabled access at this Embassy. We hope this information is helpful.
General physical access
Access for visually-impaired visitors
Access for Deaf/hard of hearing visitors

Access to the Ambassadors Residence in Luxembourg
If you are attending a function at the Ambassador's Residence (16 Boulevard Roosevelt), a stair-lift from the ground floor permits access to the public rooms on the first floor. This lift is not suitable for wheelchairs. If you use a wheelchair, you may need assistance moving from your chair onto the lift seat, and then back onto your chair. Our staff will be happy to help. If possible, please telephone before your visit so that they can be prepared.
