History

The Lieutenant-Governor John Graves Simcoe selected the Forks of the Thames as the future site of the province capital in 1793, the town was founded in 1826. London was incorporated as a city from town in January 1 st 1855.

London’s Transport Museum : tourist can discover 200 years of transportation history in London, also the oldest public transportation system in the world.
