Ljubljana

Arrival

Brnik airport is 23km north-west of Ljubljana.Adria Airways flies seven times a week from London Gatwick. A taxi from the airport at Brnik, 26km north-west of the city, costs very little; there are also private buses that will take you to the city centre. Ljubljana is small city and the best way to get around is on foot. From the railway and bus stations to center is a short ten minute walk. Bicycles are available from a small street-side rental kiosk just off Presernov trg, run by the city. First two hours are free, with a nominal fee per hour after that. Most of the streets in the core of the city have special bicycle lanes, and at major intersections there are bicycle traffic lights. Bus is the preferred method of public transportation. The bus network is extensive and served at frequent intervals, somewhat less so on weekends. Lots of cabs can be found in the city center, especially at night after most buses stop running. There is no Metro in Ljubljana.  There are a few stations in the suburbs, but these are not shown on the main departure timetables, so it is necessary to get detailed leaflets or buy a timetable from the main station.Train facility is very easier if u want to visit to many other cities you can move by train. Departure time and arrival time is available on yellow and white pages.
