Ljubljana Airport

Ljubljana airport is the International airport of Slovenia . It is situated about 20km north of Ljubljana towards Kranji. The airport was previously named as Brnik Airport . However, its name has been recently changed to Joze Pucnik Airport .

At the left of the departure of Ljubljana airport there are check in as well as sales offices of different airlines. Apart from Adria airlines other airlines those operate are AirFrance, Malev, Easy Jet etc. The airport departure schedule can be obtained online. All check-ins in the airport are controlled by “European air safety rules”. There is also café in the departure hall.

The arrival schedule can also be checked online since all the data are posted to the airport hompage. There is a mini-arrival hall which can be a nice cozy corner for meeting the friends who have arrived. There are some travel and tourism offices in the arrival hall.

The airport is connected to the city via bus service no.28, which runs to and from Ljubljana bus station every hour. It takes 45 minutes via bus to arrive at the station and the journey costs 4 euros. There are also good facilities of car parking at the airport. And the parking is free for the first 30 minutes. There are also car rental services available inside as well as around the airport.
