The airport is 4 miles from Lisbon city centre.

Cascais or Estoril : from the A5 motorway via the IC 17 for Circular 2a.

Parque das Nacoes : take the Marechal Gomes da Costa avenue to Rotunda do Relogio then via Alameda ds Comunidades Avenue Dr Alfredo Bensaude to Circular 2a.

North : take the A1 Oporto or Lisbon motorway via the 2a circular.

South : the 2a circular is after Vasco de Gama bridge.

Travelling to and from Airport

Bus : the Scotturb airport shuttle bus operates to Estoril and Cascais from the airport. Carris operates Aerobus No.91 to city centre and also to Cais do Sodre railway station. Bus No.5, 22, 44, 45 and 83 provide passengers with access to different destinations in Lisbon.

Taxi : are available outside the arrival and departure area.

Left / Lost Luggage : the left luggage facility is located in level 2 of car park P2 and lost property is located in the departures shopping area, in the police office or call (0)21 849 6132.

Lounges : the airlines provide lounges for pasengers.

Other Facilities : insurance desk is located at the check-in area.

Post office is located in the departure area.

First aid room is located in the arrivals area.

Children care and play area is located in the arrivals area.

Showers are at the departure boarding lounge.

The airport has lifts, ramps, toilets, telephones and wheelchair and push is also provided by airlines. Car parking is available and for any special request should be made while booking the tickets.

Further still you can hire a car in Lisbon after you land on the Lisbon Airport and be at your hotels in a matter of minutes, as the airport is situated close to the centre of the city.  If you do not own personal transport you can rent a car in Portugal and travel towards the inner city. In spite of your luggage it does not cost you much and is a safe and cheap way of traveling. You can even ask for a receipt.
