The first national park in Lesotho is located in a remote area separated from the rest of the world, which is the main attraction. The park houses few animals and the rare Maloti minnows, which was thought to be extinct but found in the Tsoelikana River. Other rare species found in the park are the bearded vulture and the odd rhebok or baboon.
