Le Mans is a French city in the Sarthe department of the Pays de la Loire region. Located in the north of France the city has a population of around 150,000 and is the capital of the historic French province of Maine. Built at different points in history, the current building dates back to as far as the 12th century.

The average temperature in the summer is around 24C, with the hottest month of the year being August. In the winter the temperature drops and sometimes there is even snowfall.
