The airport is located 6.5 miles of Charlestown Co. Mayo and 8 miles of Knock village, the fourth international airport of Ireland. Knock, Irelands Marian Shrine is 10 minutes drive away, to north Mayo is 40 minutes and to Galway city and Connemara are within 70 minutes drive.
Knock Airport Terminal Information
The airport has single passenger terminal with a main concourse, ten check-in desks and two gates serving international and domestic carriers. Knock is the only international airport serving the EU designated border, midland and the western regions of Ireland.
Information Desk
The airport information desk is located near the entrance of the arrivals area providing information on airport facilities. The Knock Shrine office is located on the ground floor providing information on Knock Marine Shrine. The ticket desk is located near the check-in area.

Currency Exchanger & ATMs : the bureau de change and cash dispenser machines are located on the ground floor of the arrivals hall.
Food & Drinks : the airport has cafes, bars and restaurants serving refreshments, snacks, breakfast and meals available on different levels of the terminal. A bar cum restaurant is situated on the ground floor and the airport restaurant on the first floor serves variety cuisines and drinks. Bars are also available in the departure area and VIP lounges of the terminal. Confectionaries shops selling many varieties of chocolates without any additional rates.
Shopping : the airport shops are located in all the levels with beautifully designed shops. The airports duty free shopping is available for passengers traveling to Non-EU destinations. The gift shop is located on the ground floor departure areas selling local gift items, perfumery, wines and spirits from around the world. The news stand located in the main terminal opposite to check-in desk.
Other Facilities : internet kiosks and access points are situated in the arrivals area.
Public coin/card telephones are available in the arrivals area.
Children play area is situated in the departure area.
Knock Airport Facilities for Disabled
The airport has easy access for disable passengers throughout the terminal with lifts and ramps to access the upper level of the terminal. The toilets are located on the ground floor and also on the upper level in the departure area. For any specific assistance at the airport the airlines should be informed in advance.
