Kansas Airport of the Airport: The airport is located 20 miles northwest of Kansas city and it is one of the largest airports in the United States designed for passengers convenience. The airport is an effcient central hub for flights mainly to destinations throughout the United States. There are currently plans to develop the airport further which might temporarily cause disruption to its service.

Traveling to and from the Airport:

Bus: Buses are regularly available from the airport to the city center and other destinations in and around the city.

Taxi: Taxis are readily available from the terminal and under airport legislation taxis are obliged to take passengers where ever they choose no matter how far. Limos are also available for hire and arrangements can be made in front of the terminal exits.

Terminal Information: There are three terminals at the airport and a red shuttle buses provide transportation between the three terminals.

Information Desk: Information kiosks are located at the bus sheltors in the new economy car park. Courtesy telephones are located all throughout the airport providing information and the information service can also be contacted in advance, tel: 816 243 5237.

Kansas Airport Facilities:

Currency and Communication: ATMs, bureau de change and internet access is available all throughout the airport in all the three terminals. Various other banking operations are also available at the business center in Terminal A.

Refreshments: Variety of restaurants, bars, pubs, and fast food outlets are available in all the three terminal building including KFC and Burger king.

Shopping: There are various shops available in all the three terminals including a newsagent.

Left and lost luggage: Left and lost luggage facility is situated in the Airport Police building, (tel: 816 243 5219) and queries can be made via the white courtesy telephone.

Other Facility: Other facility includes baby change facility, children play area and a 24 hour first aid center.

Kansas Airport Disabled Facility: Disbaled facility includes ramps, lifts, disabled toilets, TTD telephones and shuttle bus is provided for the disabled to travel into the termianl building. Disabled car parking spaces are available and shuttles provided are wheel chair accessible and should be requested in advance from the concerned airlines.
