Location
From Johannesburg city the airport is 14 miles away and for access road to the airport take R24 and R21 when traveling from Pretoria, which have signpost indicating the airport.
Terminal Information
The airport has six terminals and complimentary shuttle bus service inter links the terminals and also transfers passengers to the car parks.
Johannesburg Airport Information Desk
The airport information desks are located in the international arrivals and departure hall and also in domestic terminal arrivals. The flight information desk is located near the airport information desk (Ph: (0)11 921 6262). The tourist information desk is located in the international arrivals hall for further information call (Ph: (0)11 390 3614).
Traveling to and from Johannesburg Airport
The ground transportation service is operated by Izinga Transport Management and has a help desk in the baggage reclaim area of terminal A and B (visit: www.itram.co.za). For information on public transportation call (Ph: (0)11 921 6262.
By Shuttle / Bus : the shuttle stand is located opposite to terminal A international arrivals and bus stand is at the multi-story car park. There are number of buses and shuttle operating from the airport to Johannesburg, Pretoria and other destinations around the capital.

Currency Exchanger & ATMs : both the facilities and also a bank is available in the terminals.
Food & Drinks : the airport terminals has many outlets serving various fast foods, juices, bakery and also has cafes, bars and restaurant located throughout the terminals.
Shopping : the airport has wide variety of shops located in the terminals and also a duty free shop .
Left / Lost Luggage : the left luggage office is located on the upper level of underground car parking at the international arrivals area.
Other Facilities : mobile phone hire and internet points are available throughout the terminals.
24-hour medical center and baby change rooms are available.
Porters are available in the arrivals hall and are recognizable by their orange uniforms.
Johannesburg Airport Facilities for Disabled
The airport has lifts and ramps for access in the terminals and the shuttle bus service can accommodate passengers with wheelchair. Designated car parking is available at the airport. If passengers does not have valid disable badge then the ACSA-JIA help desk should be contacted for assistance (Ph: 11 921 6262).
