Japan is located in Eastern Asia with chain of islands between the North Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Japan and Korean peninsula in the east, Tokyo is the capital city of Japan.
During the Jomon period 13,000 BC to 300 BC the inhabitants of Japanese islands were gatherers, fishers and hunters.

Meiji Jingu Shrine – the shrine was built in 1920s and attracts tourists during the New Year’s holiday.
Tokyo Tower – an art gallery and aquarium located near the tower, which was built in 1958 includes two observatory’s. The main observatory is located 150m and the top one is located 250m from here Mount Fuji can be viewed.
Aquariums in Japan
Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise – the three story aquarium includes over 100,000 sea creatures and visitors can view through the Aqua tube, which is an underwater tunnel.
Sunshine International Aquarium – the aquarium is located inside a tall building in the center of Tokyo and includes rare sea creatures in natural settings.
Port of Nagoya Aquarium – the exhibition includes Marine Life Around Japan, the Deep Sea, Tropical Marine Life, Australia and the Antarctic.
Toba Aquarium – tourist can enjoy a diving experience without wearing a wet suit, which has large indoor saltwater tank with more than 250 species.
Osaka KaiyUKan – recreated 15regions along the Ring of Fire (Pan Pacific Volcanic Zone) and includes diverse creatures in the Pacific Ocean.
Sumo Wrestling – the national sport of Japan and six major tournaments are held each year
Nagasaki Huis Ten Bosch – is a popular theme park which imitates Holland village and visitor’s can experience the exotic culture and atmosphere of Europe while in Japan.
Hiroshima City and Miyajima Island – Hiroshima city was destroyed by an atomic bomb in 1945 and was reconstructed as a modern city. The city is located on the Seto Sea Side in Chugoku region.
