Driving Directions : from the centre of Inverness to the airport take the A96 route towards Aberdeen and follow the road signs. Take the same A96 route towards Inverness to Gollanfield and follow road signs to the airport from the east. The A9 route has to be taken when travelling from the north and south.

The air gateway for the highlands and islands of Scotland and also the largest of the 10 airports in the region. The airport is on the east of the city (9 miles) from the city of Inverness and off the main A96 trunk road. There are taxies and buses available outside the airport terminal.
