Heathrow Eating & Drinking
Heathrow is one of the busiest airports in the world. Among the few things that Britain boasts on possessing- Heathrow is the most valuable one.
Heathrow airport not only serves as the busiest hub of airline communication but is also very welcoming to the tourists. The airport with its superb facilities can serve equally as a well known tourist city.
Both inside and around Heathrow one will find amazing collection of places to dig in delicious foods. One of the most famous of these restaurants is the Giraffe. Well, the name sounds a bit eccentric and weird but the dishes here are simply mind blowing.
Giraffes are all about healthy eating, sustainability and cool graphics, mostly in that order. Another great feature of the place is the affordable price- you can have a stomach-full fixed dinner in around eight bucks.
Their specialties include amazing brunch menus of stacked pancakes with banana and blueberries and good ol' Vermont syrup, maple roast bacon, lettuce, tomato and mustard mayo. In appetizers there are warm, with chicken gourmet nuggets, crusted with oregano, black pepper and paprika and helped along with lemon basil Greek yoghurt dip, or Japanese crisp fried tiger prawns and a lime-chili dipping sauce.
Main courses could embrace ginger chili mushroom and spinach stir-fry, served with organic brown Basmati rice - almost enough to turn a man vegetarian, grilled chicken burger and fries or grilled citrus salmon Tostada. Their salad bowls offer excellent blend of mixed greens, artichoke, beetroot, avocado, plum tomato, cucumber and mushrooms', with either a herby-house dressing or a low fat honey-mustard.
