About Heathrow
Prior to 18 th century it was a fishing village but it was for the sun bathing locals and beautiful beaches which paved the way for country’s first seaside resort. It is an excellent sea city with lot of historical castles, beautiful architectural buildings, clean long beaches and refreshing sea breeze.
It was in 17 th century, King George IV the future king visited here, the prince of wales paid a visit later on. By then it was frequently visited by members of the high society like rakish high society Hellfire Club and Lord Byron.
The place never recovered from the bad reputation as Dirty Weekends, since the Prince of Wales was seen with his widowed mistress Mrs. Fitzherbert. The tourists at the sea beaches may not be aware of drug abuse and homelessness in the other wise beautiful city. The town is a popular place for families, teenagers and young romantic couples.
