The Guildford Borough includes the historic town of Guildford and the nearby surrounding of Borough includes many tourist attractions. The regions historic buildings include a 16 th century Norman Castle and shopping center is situated in the center of the town. Polesden Lacey : located off the A246 Leatherhead-Guildford road. The former Regency villa built in the first quarter of 18tyh century includes collections of the Greville antiques and paintings. It was enlarged during the 20 th century to make it a comfortable Edwardian country house, for Mrs. Ronald Greville.
Loseley House : house and garden located 4kms southwest of Guildford. Queen Elizabeth I, James I and queen Mary visited the historic Elizabethan mansion. The mansion includes work of arts from Henry VIII’s Nonsuch Palace, furniture, carved chalked chimney and ceilings, also cushions made by Queen Elizabeth I.
Clandon Park : located in west Clandon with beautiful parks and excellent food.
Wisely Garden : located on the A3 London-Portsmouth road is a 250 acre garden, is also the great gardens of England.
