When to go Greece
Peoples are more agreeable among most of the places to land Greek, outside the peak season of beginning July to the end of the August, with soaring climate temperature and too much foreigner’s crowds and locals alike can be overpowering. Conditions are perfect between Easter and mid-June - beaches and ancient sites are relatively uncrowned; public transport operates on close to full schedules; and December to March are the coldest and least reliable months, though even then there are many crystal-clear, fine days, and the glorious lowland flowers begin to bloom very early in spring. Accommodation is cheaper and easier to find than in the mid-June to end of August high season. Winter is pretty much a dead loss outside the major cities as most of the tourist infrastructure goes into hibernation from the middle of October till the beginning of April. The more northerly latitudes and high altitudes of course endure far colder and wetter conditions, with the mountains themselves under snow from November to May.
