Location
The international airport is located on the Grand Cayman Islands and 3 kms from George Town, the capital. The Cayman Islands are made up of three islands the Grand Cayman Island, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. The islands are connected by Cayman Airways and Islands Airways. Although all the islands have landing strips the airport in the Grand Cayman Island handles international airlines and provides as an easy access route for it’s counterparts.

Traveling to and from Grand Cayman Airport
By Bus : pick up at the airport by buses are provided by hotels and should be informed to the hotel authorities while booking. Buses are available for touring the small island.
By Car : any car hire representatives are available directly after exiting the Owen Roberts airport. The island is small and hiring car is the efficient way of navigating between tourist destinations. If tourists wish to drive should posses a valid license and a temporary permit for driving in Grand Cayman, which will be issued by the car hire company.

The airport has sufficient provisions with access ramps and specially designed washrooms. For wheelchair and assistance at the airport the airport staffs are available in the terminal. Any specific requirement the airlines should be informed in advance.
