
Gloucester
The city is set in a beautifull green lush severn valley on the gorgeous cotswold hills with its neighbouring villages. The city has a rich historical past which is home to the Norman Cathedral and old historic ports. Close to the cathedral is the house of the tailor of Gloucester, where Beatrix Potter (famous model) used dresses in her famous story ‘The Tailor of Gloucester’.
The centre of the city is the place to shop with modern shopping mall and in the closly narrow lanes are shops which selle arts and crafts. The national waterways museum is the home to historic Gloucester docks which is close to the city centre. There are other attractions like four story antiques centre. The waterfront bars, cafes, resturant and family picnic places are a must to visit.
To the east is the cosmopolitan spa town of Cheltenham and it is a short drive from gloucester city. The town is set with a beautifull background the cotswolds hills with fine architectural structures and list of shopping oppertunities. In the cotswolds hills the villages are pictureque and impressive churches all biult in glowing stones. There is also market towns and cottages.
