Travel by Train : a short walk from the terminal in a enclosed skywalk. The Paisley’s gilmour Street railway station is only 2 miles from the airport terminal. The direct rail services from Paisley Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central, Ayr and Clyde Coast destinations. From Monday to Saturday there are eight trains per hour and five on Sundays. Through rail tickets purchased at SPT Travel Centre on the ground floor of the terminal building, from Glasgow airport to Glasgow Central station via Gilmour Street Station.

Travel by Bus : the bus service by public transport and airport bus from outside the terminal. To travel from Central Station to either Queen Street Station or Buchanan bus Station, passengers can use bus 398 which provides services every 10 minutes. The service will be treated free on production of valid rail ticket.

Travel by Road : from the centre of Glasgow to the airport is accessible by the M77 road and it takes less than half an hour. If travelling to the airport from the; south use A76, A77 and A79, north use M77, by the A77, A78 or A79.

Shopping : high street favourites and other attractive essentials at tax free prices. Keep shopping without the need to carry your purchases with you. To take advantage of this service purchase at the airport and tell the retailer that you would collect the goods on your return journey. The retailer will give a slip for the possesion.

Prestwick Airport Food and Drink : there are various outlets of resturants, bars and cafes at the airport. The Caffe Nero, Burger King, Delice de France and food village which are available before and after the security controls.

Prestwick Airport Facilities for Disabled: wheelchairs and other assistance is provided on booking prior to arrival contact (0) 871 223 0700 ext 4434. There are toilets, lifts and stair lift for the convienance of passengers.
