Weather in Germany
Unlike UK there is hardly any rapid change in weather mood in Germany. The climate hence is temperate.
January is the coldest month of the land while June remains the warmest month. The average temperature during the winter ranges from -6°c to 1.5°c. During July temperature varies from 15°c to 18° c keeping the land comfortable to dwell in. however, the upper valley of the river Rhine tastes the mildest weather of the year.
The Bavaria rather experiences a sudden warmer Alpine wind which is also called as Fohnn due to which many people each year suffer from sudden headache and irritation, some even have circulatory problems. This warmer wind also makes the snowcaps of the area melt down.
The weather is a bit harsh on the Harz Mountains where the summer is cool with cold wind and the winter comes with heavy snowfalls.
Precipitation occurs throughout the year: in the northern lowlands from 51 to 71 cm; in the central uplands from 69 to 152 cm and in the Bavarian Alps it rises more than 200 cm. The higher mountains remain snow covered from at least January to March.
