Germany is located right in the center of Europe and forms as a bridge between maritime west of Europe and the continental east. It is a triad of mountain ranges, uplands and low land plains, the Bavarian Alps in the south and the wooded mountains of the Mittelgebirge in the center of the country.

The Hanseatic City of Bremen : the Bremen town hall of the late middle ages was built between 1405 and 1409 in the Gothic style. The town hall and Roland statue are the historical records of development of sovereignty in the middle-class during the Holy Roman Empire.

Hanseatic City of Lubeck : the medieval town center and a jewel of the North German Brick-built in Gothic architecture.

Hanseatic city of Wismar : the only Hanseatic city that has been well preserved in this size and unity in the southern Baltic area. The historic port transmits an authentic picture of the town of maritime trade.

Hanseatic city of Stralsund : the unique island is located between the Stralsund and the dammed ponds from the 12 th century the medieval form of the town. During the 13 th century Stralsund was the important city only next to Lubeck in the Baltic region and chosen as the place for the peace negotiations with Denmark.

The Roman Limes : (the frontiers of the Roman Empire) Europe’s largest archaeological monument an ancient fortified border line of the Roman era and the existence of the civilization 2,000 years ago.

Essen : the worlds most modern and biggest coal mine complex, the Zollverein mine. The huge buildings are the representation of heavy industry in Europe and the architecture was influenced by the Bauhaus.

Aachen : the palace chapel which was used to coronate 30 German kings and also the final resting place for king Charlemagne.

Bruhl : the Augustusburg Castle and Falkenlust Castle, which were the first major buildings constructed in the rococo style and became inspiration for numerous German royal palaces.

Bad Muskau : the European landscaped park of the 19 th century, with the developed of artificially created landscape in those times. The park is located on the border of Germany with Poland and considered as a joint project of the two countries.

Berlin : the museum island located in Berlin the capital of Germany, includes collections of museum buildings, which illustrates modern museum design for more than a century
