The city of Geneva has a close proximity with the airport, and it has combined facility with efficient baggage distribution and passport control, with this facility it is possible to downtown within an hour to touchdown. There is a very good facility of taxi’s available (approximately CHF 30 to centre) outside the terminal. The airport is linked with the Geneva’s main railway station connecting several trains per hour. The trains in Geneva arrive mostly at cornavin. There is connection of buses and trains for cities from there. The buses arrived at the Gare-Routiere, close to the central city on the Rive Droite. Cornavin train station is about ten-minute' walk along the Rue du Mont-Blanc. There is problem of parking in Geneva, so it is not advisable to go Geneva by cars. If the hotel doesn’t have parking space then leave the car at Cornavin or Cointrin train station car-parks and use the well-organised public transport system.
