Fuengirola
Fuengirola is part of the Costa Del Sol, in Andalucía, Spain. It has more than 8 kilometers of beaches and also hosts a beautiful medieval fortress. Fuengirola is probably most famous for its zoo, the Bioparc Fuengirola, its Arabic Castle – Sohail Castle, its bullring the Plaza de Toros and its harbor.

The Bioparc Fuengirola, the zoo, has recreated tropical forests from Africa, Asia and Madagascar and has come highly recommended by the National Geographic Magazine. Night visits are possible and there are regular African dance shows and special dinners.
Three times a week, on Tuesday and Saturday (on the Los Boliches fairground) and Sunday (on the marina), there is a large flea market, that is known for the antiquities that are on sale there.
Fuengirola is incredibly popular amongst tourists, but also amongst music and dance enthusiasts, as it hosts a conservatorium as well as many dance and music classes all year round. Public transportation is available but it is known to be quite unreliable, although regeneration projects are improving this.
