Formentera separated from Ibiza is a beautiful unspoilt island with most of the beaches having a tolerant clothes- optional atmosphere, it attracts nudist from all over Europe as well as other nature lovers and young families seeking a relaxed holiday.

The city of Formentera has no much of attraction but is famous for its beaches. The most favourite beach is the Platja de Migjorn which is long bay with a pine forest behind the beach on its western end. Nudity is accepted and common place on most of the beaches of Formentera except on the town beach at Es Pujols. Majority of the visitors to the island are Germans and they are inclined to set the tone for the beach nudity. Platja de Llevant is an area of outstanding beauty with dune areas, numerous small bays and views across to Ibiza. There is also another famous place for many of the Britishers, the Es Calo formely a small fishing village which has been the traditional destination for the British naturists.

Shopping is really fantastic with wide range of shops covering all your needs in Es Pujols and the excellent supermarket inland at the administrative center of Sant Francesc and also small supermarkets near the beach. Excellent range of restaurants and beach bars specialising in fish and sea food at a reasonable price is really very good. To the east of Platja de Migjorn beach is the famous Blue Bar which is worth a visit to enjoy the view and ambience at night.
