The city of Florence is situated in a small basin like zone which is encircled by numbers of hills. Due to such position the city faces quite unsteady climate. Summer in this land becomes extremely hot as well as humid whereas the winter remains cool with lots of rain. The average temperature remains somewhere near 23-24 degrees celcius during July and August.
On the contrary during January the temperature decreases as low as 5 °C. the winters in the land are quite short and usually end within mid-March. The winter is accompanied by rains but snowfall can hardly be seen. During April dreary cold showers occur sometimes. Florence is delightful during spring. The sky is blue and clear. The sun is soothingly warm. Gentle breeze makes the day look even brighter.
While spring and fall remains the best time to visit the land, June-August are considered as least comfortable for traveling in Florence . The scorching heat these days make it really hard to endure. May and June are the brightest and sunniest months of the year.
Florence is famous for her sunshine and the golden sunlight of Florence are most enjoyable when the summer starts to fade away and the days become shorter.
