The first and only cable car designed for, to span a major river is from within one of the cars of the Rhein- Seilbahn and is one of the first and only Panoramas over the ancient city of Dusseldorf. The Rhein-Seilbahn stretches between points near the zoo, in the district of Dusseldorf-Riehl, to the Rheinpark in Dusseldorf-Deutz, a total of about 915m (3,000 ft.). From the air, you'll get a good view of the busy river traffic along the Rhine. The cable car operates April to October, daily 10am to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
