The Museo Del Prado museum:
The museum was established in the year 1819. After the deposition of the Isabella in the year 1868 it was nationalized and it acquired the name “Museo Del Prado”. The museum has the royal collection of the arts. The first renovation of the museum took place in the year 1918. The final enlargement took place in the year 2007. It was designed by the architect named Rafael. This is an under ground complex which connects to the main building. During the civil war, more than three hundred and fifty three monuments and one hundred and sixty eight drawings were removed. Also the Dauphin’s treasure was removed.
The Thyssen - Bornemisza Museum:
This museum is very near to the Museo Del Prado museum. It is known as Museo Thyssen – Bornemisza in Spanish. It is a part of the “Golden triangle of art”. The other two of the golden triangle of art are the Prado and the Raino Sofia. The collection was started in the year 1920. There are many European paintings that are seen in this museum. The interior wall of the museum is salmon pink in color. A compilation of the works from the museum are housed in the Barcelona in the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
The Raino Sofia museum:
The Raino Sofia museum is very close to the Thyssen - Bornemisza Museum and the Museo Del Prado museum. It is one among the “Golden triangle of art”. The paintings inside the Reina Sofia are by the artists as celebrated as the Picasso and the Dalí. Most illustrious collections are found here. There are many rare collections found here. It is easy to visit all the three museums on the same day because they are located in the same location. You can visit by bus. There are many frequencies of bus tripping to these places.
